WE REMEMBER EVA GABOR AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS EDISON

TODAY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE 87TH BIRTHDAY OF THE "TALENTED" AND "CLASSY" GABOR SISTER EVA. I HAVE LEARNED THAT SHE BEGAN HER CAREER AS AN ICE SKATER AND A CABARET SINGER-- IMAGINE THAT. SHE DIED AS A RESULT OF FOOD POISONING ON JULY 4, 1995-- TRAGIC. SHE WAS THE FIRST GABOR SISTER TO DIE. HER MOTHER DIED JUST TWO YEARS AFTER SHE AT 103 AND MAGDA DIED JUST TWO MONTHS AFTER THAT. OF COURSE THEGABORS HAVE BEEN IN THE NEWS AGAIN WITH THE SPECULATION THAT EVA'S HUSBAND WAS THOUGHT TO THE FATHER OF ANNA NICOLE'S BABY-- BIZARRE! SOMETHING I DID NOT KNOW: EVA WAS THE LIVE IN COMPANION TO MERV GRIFFIN FOR ALMOST THE LAST TEN YEARS OF HER LIFE. OF COURSE, EVERYBODY REMEMBERS HOW FUNNY SHE WAS IN "GREEN ACRES" WITH THE LATE GREAT EDDIE ALBERT. SHE WAS THE CARTOON VOICE AS "MISS BIANCA" IN THE DISNEY CARTOON CLASSIC "THE RESCUERS" WELL, IT RAINED HARD HERE LAST NIGHT AND THAT WASN'T TOO GOOD NEWS FOR MY LANDLORD WHO DECIDED TO REPLACE ALL THE COPPER PIPE IN OUR APARTMENT BUILDING-- WHAT A MESS! WORK CONTINUES ON 'THE RUNAWAY HEART" WITH TWO FULL SCENES NOW COMPLETED. IT'S ALSO THE BIRTHDAY OF THE GREAT INVENTOR THOMAS EDISON-- GEE, THINK OF WHAT WE OWE THIS INCREDIBLY GIFTED MAN THAT WE SIMPLY TAKE FOR GRANTED TODAY. WELL, OFF TO WORK ON ANOTHER SUNDAY-- THAT'S IT FOR NOW!
